The town itself boasts all the high street stores you would expect, allowing you to enjoy some good shopping. A little further a field, the historic town of Sherborne is only a short drive away, as is the beautiful Castle Cary, with its boutiques and charming buildings.

Elsewhere, for a fantastic day out, we thoroughly recommend the beautiful city of Bath. Famous for its Spa facilities, Bath is a haven for shoppers, sight-seers and lovers of history and architecture alike.

For those of you who enjoy the sea air, Knapp House B & B is only a 50 minute drive away from the Dorset coast. Lyme Regis, West Bay and Sidmouth are all popular destinations, and indeed many of our guests have used Knapp House B & B as a base for travel further a field to the South Devon and Cornish area.
